This city steals the show in their bakery scene. I was very impressed just how good the pastries and bread were everywhere I went!
Some even made it to my list of best eats EVER…
- Bageriet Brød
Enghave Pl. 7, 1670 København, Denmark
Don’t miss this local’s favorite bakery. You can’t go wrong with any of their fresh pastries!
- Buka
Store Kongensgade 18, 1264 København, Denmark
A small bakery tucked away in the touristy area near the colorful houses of Nyhavn.
- Guðrun’s Goodies
Sankt Peders Stræde 35, 1453 København, Denmark
Technically not a bakery, but I absolutely loved this cafe run by a really warm and friendly woman from Iceland! The bread is absolutely incredible.
- H.U.G Bageri
Øster Farimagsgade 20, 2100 København, Denmark
A gluten-free bakery that had a really good Tebirke!
- June The Bakery
Århusgade 48, 2100 København, Denmark
Awarded to the hall of fame of bakeries. My favorite bakery I found in Copenhagen hands-down. Would return to this city just to get their cardamom buns!!!
- Meyers Bageri
Jægersborggade 9, 2200 København N, Denmark
Look no further for a warm, gooey cinnamon roll!
- Naturbageriet
Frederiksborggade 29, 1360 København, Denmark
A more healthy bakery run by a very nice woman.
- Rug
Tietgensgade, 1704 København, Denmark
Good cardamom buns in a hidden location inside a hotel.
- Skt. Peders Bageri
Sankt Peders Stræde 29, 1453 København, Denmark
I honestly cannot remember what I got from here… but I’m pretty sure it was good. The place has really high reviews so check it out!
Let me know what you think of this list and if you think any others should have made the list! I obviously couldn’t check out every single bakery in Copenhagen, but I think I rounded up a very high quality list to choose from.
Keep calm and bread on everyone!
